Cultural exchange has been a red thread throughout my life. After having lived abroad twice (once as aupair), supported by my passion for languages — I speak German, English, French and Spanish — the connection of people beyond borders is of my utmost concern.
I worked as a European secretary for many years, and raised my son in California where I graduated from College in Intercultural Studies and Liberal Arts. Back in Germany I got actively involved with the Waldorf School's parents' association which gave me the idea to become an aupair agent and act in the area of Waldorf schools on an international level. Worldwide there are 958 Waldorf schools.
Graduates, who would like to live abroad for some time to improve their language as well as their intercultural skills, would feel more comfortable in a foreign culture if they live with a Waldorf family. Parents will also entrust their children more willingly to a young person from a different culture if they have at least some kind of basic pedagogy in common, the perfect link.
